Deric C. Feacher is thrilled to serve as the city manager for Daytona Beach, leading a dedicated team focused on fulfilling the vision and goals of the citizens, elected officials, business community, and staff. His mission is to make Daytona Beach the ideal place to live, work, play, learn, and raise a family.
A proven manager, Deric has driven major growth and progressive development in the municipalities he has led. Since beginning his tenure on June 1, 2021, he has overseen Daytona Beach, managing a workforce of approximately 1,000 teammates and a $335 million budget, serving 83,000 residents.
Deric holds a bachelor’s degree in political science from Bethune-Cookman and has completed the Senior Executives in State and Local Government Executive Education program at Harvard University's John F. Kennedy School of Government. He is married to the former Keshia McCloud, and together they are the proud parents of their son Jay, who is married with two children.
