OVERVIEW: In this session, we'll take a deep dive into the ICRM Certification program, exploring the what, why, and how of becoming a Certified Records Manager (CRM) or a Certified Records Analyst (CRA). We will also discuss specialty designations available for those seeking to focus on specific areas of Records and Information Management (RIM). We will cover the benefits of ICRM certification. Industry surveys consistently demonstrate a strong correlation between achieving the CRM designation and career advancement. The knowledge gained through the certification process empowers CRMs to command higher-level positions with competitive salaries. We'll explore the ways in which ICRM certification enhances professionalism, fosters personal growth, and elevates confidence in one's RIM abilities. Finally, we'll navigate the 'how' of obtaining ICRM certification. We'll cover the steps involved in the process, including eligibility requirements, the application procedure, and the different exams offered. We'll also address the resources available to help you prepare for the exams and ensure your success.
