OVERVIEW: This session will review the evolution across 16 years of RIM training, from the very beginning in person marathons, to on demand online. The session will talk about what worked and what didn't, ways to make training interesting to the attendees, getting buy in for mandatory training, and going live virtual to on demand virtual. Best practices, managing the costs, and getting people in the classes will be discussed.
Attendees will learn about different strategies in developing a training program on RIM topics for their organization. Discussion will include wins and losses, and method of re-evaluation of the training program. Included will be suggestions for types of training, other organizations to collaborate within your agency to get buy in, and the ultimate win of mandated RIM training.
