OVERVIEW: Outreach programs are the key to engaging with individuals and organizations so they will in turn support an institution’s work or help further institutional goals in some way. Attendees will have the ability to use this session as a framework for building or expanding their outreach program. This session aims to spark creative approaches to outreach and members will learn step-by-step how to reach their audience in new and unique ways. Members will be empowered to not only use their own collection materials to make an impact in their broader community, but also to build or strengthen partnerships within their own institution.
