SESSION 3: "Digital Preservation Workflows for Born Digital Accessions"

OVERVIEW: Life moves pretty fast. If you don't stop and look around at your digital preservation workflow once and a while, you could miss opportunities to improve it. The Vermont State Archives and Records Administration (VSARA) is working with technology we have on hand and leveraging existing best practice to build a preservation plan and implementation workflow that meets our needs.

This Forum session will present the updated VSARA workflow for preserving born digital accessions as well as lessons learned. The speakers will specifically highlight a born digital transfer from the Vermont General Assembly, including video transfers off of a well know social media platform.
