Overview: Much of the focus in the records world falls on the lawsuits and risks involving public disclosure or FOIA requests. The reality is that if you have a disclosure issue, you actually have a records management problem. In this session you will learn (1) the relationship between records management and disclosure, (2) what you can I do, and (3) how to build a framework for compliance (which is Information Governance) including:

  • How to plug the hole;
  • How to stay afloat; and
  • Strategies on changing course and mitigating risk.
