Becky Pezzoni, CRM   Lisa Coombes, CRA

Becky began her records management career in the pharma industry with GlaxoSmithKline, where she was responsible for the US-based archives and records management teams. In 2017, Becky became the first county Enterprise Records Manager in the state of North Carolina. She doubled the size of the program in 2019 by hiring Lisa Coombes! Becky is a motivated, detailed professional with over twenty-five years of versatile experience in leadership, people management, records and information management, financial and process analysis, business case development, outsourcing, and project management. She is committed to driving change and to helping colleagues see their fit into the ‘big picture’, now coaching nearly 6000 colleagues at Wake County! Becky received her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from UNC Chapel Hill and her MBA from Meredith College, and achieved her CRM in 2013.

In 2005, Lisa started her government career in Archives and Records Management at the State Archives of North Carolina and held several positions including Digitization Technician, Research Archivist, and Records Analyst. She left the State Archives in 2012 for a Records Manager position at the City of Raleigh where she built a records management program for the Planning and Development Department. Lisa was hired by Becky Pezzoni in 2019 as the Enterprise Records Analyst for Wake County, North Carolina. This dynamic duo coaches and motivates county departments through various records management challenges and practices, while making even the most mundane records clear-outs fun and rewarding. When she is not working her way through dusty file rooms or pouring over records schedules, Lisa enjoys her reading library her husband built, walking trails, and dog rescue work with her teenage daughter. Lisa is a graduate of Eckerd College (BA) and North Carolina State University (MA). She obtained her Master's in Public History with a Specialization in Archives and Records Management in 2004.
